Product Owner

> Company DescriptionEstablished in 2018 and primarily based in the UK, we are a dynamic software company working in the nonprofit space, building a comprehensive donor & donation management system.Our product covers multiple areas: digital fundraising, in person fundraising, marketing, analytics, communications, crowdfunding, financial management and much more across multiple teams.We currently operate a flat structure but are growing and are now looking for a motivated Product Owner / Project Manager who will sit between our development team and the CEO/CTO. The role aims to bring further structure, accountability and a strong delivery-focus to our product operations.> About the RoleIn this role you will:Translate the business vision (CEO/CTO) into actionable goals, product road-maps and sprint / release plans.Manage the product backlog: prioritise features, bug-fixes and enhancements across the modules, coordinate with the dev team, and ensure tasks are aligned to the plan.Monitor progress: track tasks, highlight deviations, escalate risk, ensure targets are met.Act as the key liaison between the development team and senior leadership (CEO/CTO), keeping both sides in sync.Take on light office-manager responsibilities: in our small G11 office you will help keep things running smoothly.Help establish the first layer of hierarchy in our product/development function — you will help define how we run product and delivery going forward.> ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain the product roadmap across multiple features.Define, prioritise and refine user-stories, acceptance criteria and bug-fixes in collaboration with devs and QA.Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, milestone tracking.Monitor key metrics (delivery velocity, bug count, feature cycle time) and report status to CEO/CTO.Proactively identify risks and deviations from plan, propose mitigation / corrective actions.Minor office-management task to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Foster a collaborative working environment between devs, leadership and other stakeholders.> RequirementsWe know that sometimes you can't tick every box.
