We are hiring a creative Video Editor who can also shoot content (Reels/short-form videos).

The ideal candidate should not only have strong editing skills but also understand lighting, framing, and shooting techniques to create engaging, high-quality videos for social media.

Location & Timings:

  • Location:
    Gulistan-e-Johar, Block 9, Karachi (onsite role).
  • Timings:
    Part-time (6 hours/day, 4–5 days a week — flexible scheduling).

Responsibilities:

  • Record high-quality vertical videos (Reels/TikTok/Shorts).
  • Plan and set up basic lighting to ensure professional-looking footage.
  • Edit videos with smooth transitions, effects, captions, and trending sounds.
  • Add subtitles, graphics, and motion text for better engagement.
  • Stay updated with trending formats, sounds, and styles for short-form content.
  • Collaborate on creative ideas and bring concepts to life.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in video editing (portfolio required).
  • Knowledge of shooting short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
  • Understanding of lighting setup for indoor/outdoor shoots.
  • Strong command of
    Adobe Premiere Pro
    or
    DaVinci Resolve
    (must know at least one).
  • Creativity in storytelling, pacing, and social media trends.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality edits quickly.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus):

  • Experience in color grading and sound design.
  • Knowledge of photography & thumbnail design.
  • Familiarity with social media growth strategies.
