We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our backend development team. In this role, you will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs built with You will gain hands-on experience in cloud technologies, database design, API security, and distributed systems while contributing to real-world enterprise applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development & Architecture

  • Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design modular and scalable architectures.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following best practices.

API Design & Integration

  • Implement and integrate APIs with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth, Firebase Authentication).
  • Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to ensure consistent and reliable data exchange.
  • Handle API responses, error handling, and versioning.

Database Engineering

  • Design and maintain database schemas using MySQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Write efficient queries and contribute to database optimization efforts.
  • Work with Elasticsearch for indexing, search, and analytics tasks.

Caching & Performance

  • Learn and implement caching strategies using Redis or similar systems to improve performance.
  • Support performance tuning and scalability enhancements.

Background Jobs & Distributed Systems

  • Assist in building and maintaining background job processes and task queues.
  • Learn how to manage distributed workloads and handle failures gracefully.

Cloud Engineering & Security

  • Support deployment and monitoring of backend services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Follow security best practices including access control, secret management, and encryption.
  • Participate in security reviews and API audits.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years of professional, internship, or project experience in software development (preferably backend).
  • Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript and
  • Basic understanding of RESTful API design and web services.
  • Experience with MySQL and exposure to NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with caching systems like Redis.
  • Understanding of API authentication and basic security principles.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and version control systems (Git).
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or Agile methodologies is a plus.
