• Full-time - Islamabad, Pakistan (F-7 Markaz)
• This position requires you to travel Internationally to the MENA region and beyond if necessary.

  Job Summary:
  We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior QA Specialist to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will help ensure the quality and functionality of our products by performing manual testing, reporting bugs, and verifying fixes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in software testing.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • Identify, document, and report bugs and issues
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Assist in writing and maintaining clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Perform regression testing after bug fixes
  • Follow established QA processes and contribute to process improvements
  • Design and plan testing activities that cover all aspects of the software: functional, components, performance, security, regression, and service
  • Automate the tests (Python script, other tools for automation)
  • Recreate problems as reported by customers or as discovered during testing
  • Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and documentation
    
  General Requirements:
  
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC)
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
• Technical Requirements:

1. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
   
2. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, and processes
   
3. Strong reporting skills (Written, Visual [pictures and videos], Vocal, Priority Based Escalation)
   
4. Experience in reading logs and debugging
   
5. Knowledge of Chrome DevTools, APIs (Restful), JSON, XML
   
6. Strong knowledge of MQTT protocol (Wildcard, QoS, Retain, Keep Alive)
   
7. Decent knowledge of databases especially MySQL(Relational), PostgreSQL, Mongo & Influx(Timestamp based)
   
8. Knowledge of languages Javascript, Python(scripting), bash
   
9. Knowledge of using Shell/Terminal (Unix, Powershell)
   
10. Experience in latest LLM - ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Claud prompting for efficient responses
    
11. Hands-on experience with both white box and black-box testing
    
12. Proven work experience in software quality assurance
    
13. At least 0-2 years of working experience on automation tools & technologies
    
14. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc)
    
15. Decent knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
    
16. Experience or willingness to work in a Very Fast Paced Environment
    
17. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
    
18. Experience with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docx, Slides)
