Position Purpose

Provide administrative support to Buyers and facilitate delivery of the business and required products.

Job Description

  • Support the delivery of the category plan to facilitate commercial objectives and achieve financial performance targets.
  • Maintain the Management Information Systems of the Buying Department to ensure that the operational needs of the team are met.
  • Provide and maintain Management Information to assist in the delivery of category annual financial targets.
  • Prepare, maintain and take ownership of the promotional brief to monthly deadlines.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers to assist in the day to day running of the category teams.
  • Take ownership of consumer and branch enquiries, received in writing or over the telephone, to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Analyse data and make range and price recommendations during category range reviews.

Experience and Qualification

  • MBA / BBA preferably in Supply Chain.

Specific Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken English.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Adapting to changing technologies and processes within the business.
  • Comfortable to work from 12 p.m to 9 p.m.
