Sr. Executive Business Development

Position Summary:
Support the Innovation & Business Development function in pipeline development to continuously revamp & replenish Getz Pharma's generic and bio similar pipeline with new products in Pakistan and with an added focus on international markets, targeting early access for patients. Perform & execute ideation, lead generation, holistic evaluation and other project management activities for introduction & induction of new products & therapies, new segments, new facilities/technologies, new markets and business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly SRA approval reports and circulate to Commercial teams.
- Update Evaluation Tracker/Dashboard Master File from time to time and prepare Project timelines for molecules/assets under evaluation.
- Run IQVIA master query on monthly basis and (as and when needed) to support business decisions.
- Support regular NCE/New Product Induction meetings with Marketing Leads to continuously replenish relevant segment with new products & therapies and to ensure prompt idea acceptance in order to avail FTM advantage.
- Liaise with Marketing for forecasts/SOIs and with Finance for financial feasibility of new products & projects.
- Determine pricing of essential drugs for Pakistan market.
- Initiate R&D Evaluation Forms to identify in-house manufacturing feasibility of new molecules/assets.
- Initiate API Sourcing requests for Supply Chain team and facilitate rapid COA evaluation by R&D.
- Initiate NPD Request Forms to induct a molecule into development pipeline.
- Deploy & screen eminent online resources, scientific & clinical literature for ideation of new products and therapies in the assigned therapeutic segments for Pakistan market.
- Prepare business cases of new therapies with scientific (clinical) and market (IQVIA) data in the relevant therapy areas for Pakistan market.
- Participate in KOL surveys or Ad. Boards for induction of new products & therapies in the assigned segments for Pakistan market.
- Support relevant marketing colleagues in forecasting of specialized products through epidemiological methods by creating patient funnels for Pakistan market.
- Support Pipeline development for assigned international markets across a wide range of therapeutic segments through ideation, scientific & market evaluation, HCP surveys and other activities. Build external business partnerships where needed to feed relevant export markets with new products and therapies.
Requirements:
- Pharm D/ MBBS (from reputed institution); MBA is good to have but not mandatory.
- 2-5 yrs of overall experience with current experience in Business Development function of reputed pharmaceutical organizations is desirable. Prior work experience in Medical Affairs function in pharmaceutical organizations or a large tertiary care hospital will be highly encouraged.
- Candidates should have strong scientific and business acumen.
- Should possess a flair for Pharmacology.
- Innovative professional with interest in novel therapies and ability to prepare business cases of new therapies with scientific and market (IQVIA) data shall be highly preferable.
