Role Description:
The
Incubation & Project Coordinator
will play a central role in planning, executing, and monitoring training, incubation, and outreach projects at Skillsrator. The role combines elements of project management, incubatee engagement, training coordination, and business development to ensure the smooth operation and sustainable growth of Skillsrator's incubation ecosystem.
The incumbent will manage coordination between trainers, incubatees, partner institutions, and internal departments; ensure timely execution of training sessions; and actively support the business development and sales initiatives of the incubator. This position demands a proactive, well-organized professional capable of balancing operational execution with strategic outreach and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and execute training sessions and workshops for incubatees.
- Ensure smooth communication and logistics for trainers, participants, and support teams.
Incubatee Engagement & Events
- Organize engagement activities, networking sessions, and community events.
- Promote a collaborative and vibrant learning environment among incubatees.
Project Management
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
CRM & Data Management
- Activate and update incubatee profiles in the CRM system.
- Track progress, performance, and engagement history for all participants.
Student Guidance & Counselling
- Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in students.
- Guide them regarding Skillsrator's programs, offerings, and enrollment procedures.
Sales & Business Development
- Support lead generation and conversion for incubation and training programs.
- Assist in pitching Skillsrator's services to prospective clients, partners, and sponsors.
- Identify collaboration and partnership opportunities to expand Skillsrator's reach.
Outreach & Partnerships
- Coordinate with universities, organizations, and external stakeholders for joint initiatives.
- Represent Skillsrator in outreach events and strengthen institutional relationships.
Administrative & Reporting Support
- Prepare periodic progress reports for management and donors.
- Support the Head of Incubator in execution of assigned projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or related field
(Master's preferred).
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in
project coordination, incubation management, training operations, or business development
. - Experience in the
education, startup, or skills development
sector will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Understanding of sales, marketing funnels, and partnership development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
