Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Upwork Bidder / Business Developer to join our team. The role involves finding relevant projects on platforms like Upwork, submitting persuasive proposals, and converting leads into successful projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a good understanding of client needs, and the ability to build lasting business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search and identify suitable projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
- Write professional, customized, and persuasive proposals for potential clients.
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and propose relevant solutions.
- Follow up on submitted proposals to convert leads into projects.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Achieve monthly bidding and conversion targets.
- Maintain records of bids, leads, and project pipelines for reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder, Business Developer, or similar sales role.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to understand project requirements and create tailored proposals.
- Familiarity with Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of IT services, software development, or digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of project estimation and budgeting.
- Experience in lead generation outside Upwork (LinkedIn, email outreach, etc.).
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.
