Tech Lead

Role Overview

As a
Tech Lead (Full Stack)
at Horizon Digital, you'll be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of developers working across backend, frontend, and mobile platforms. You'll design scalable architectures, write clean and maintainable code, guide your team technically, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

You will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and clients to turn creative ideas into reliable, efficient, and impactful digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of full-stack web and mobile applications using
    Python/React
    and additional PHP, react native.
  • Design and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.
  • Oversee and review team code to ensure high-quality standards, best practices, and performance optimization.
  • Manage the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services efficiently across platforms.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering skill growth and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to translate design and business requirements into functional systems.
  • Manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows (Docker, Git, etc.).
  • Stay current with new technologies, tools, and frameworks to continuously improve team capability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience
    in full-stack development or team leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    (Django or Flask) and
    PHP
    (Laravel or custom frameworks).
  • Strong hands-on experience with

    for web applications.
  • Experience building and maintaining mobile apps using
    React Native
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    REST APIs
    ,
    MySQL/PostgreSQL
    , and
    modern JavaScript (ES6+)
    .
  • Experience with
    Docker
    ,
    Git
    , and deployment workflows on
    AWS / DigitalOcean / VPS environments
    .
  • Ability to manage technical documentation, code reviews, and performance audits.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating AI tools, chatbots, or automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL or
  • Experience with cloud scaling, microservices, or CI/CD automation.
  • Prior experience in agency/startup environments with rapid project cycles.
