Position Overview

We are hiring a Boxing Channel Script Writer (Research-Based) to join our creative content team. This role involves researching real boxing events, fighters, rivalries, and historical moments, then converting those findings into engaging scripts tailored for a digital video audience.

This is a fully remote position ideal for candidates with a passion for storytelling, an in-depth understanding of boxing, and a background in writing content for sports, documentaries, or YouTube channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on boxers, matches, rivalries, and major boxing events.
  • Create clear, engaging, and informative scripts suitable for video narration and digital storytelling.
  • Adhere strictly to provided formatting guidelines and storytelling templates.
  • Present factual content in a way that is compelling and emotionally resonant for a broad audience.
  • Work closely with the editorial and production team to ensure content aligns with the creative vision of the channel.
  • Meet deadlines consistently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and originality.

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives based on factual research.
  • A solid understanding of boxing history, culture, terminology, and major personalities.
  • Previous experience in scriptwriting, sports journalism, or digital content writing.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Fluency in written English with excellent grammar and storytelling structure.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to a fixed script format.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Portfolio of previous work in sports, especially boxing-related content.
  • Experience writing for YouTube, sports media, or documentary-style formats.
  • Educational background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Film, or Sports Media.
