Role Overview:

The Lead Auditor will play a critical role in providing independent, objective assurance services to add value in company's operations. This role is primarily responsible for developing and implementing annual audit plan for assigned domain. He/She will drive the team to continuous improvement and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute internal audits of key operational areas covering the main deliverable under relevant domains.
  • Develop audit programs including risk assessments, testing procedures and value generated from the concerned operational areas.
  • Update the already developed audit programs by accommodating the dynamic nature of operations and eliminating the obsolete risk factors.
  • Allocate best available resources to different audits and ensure formal training, review and rotation of all team members.
  • Ensure all ad hoc assignments are executed and completed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare comprehensive and timely audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and management responses for consumption of Directors.
  • Liaison with Head of Internal Audit for continuous updates on audit findings, recommendations follow up and other risk areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional HODs to address identified risks and to monitor the implementation of audit corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to ensure audits remain relevant and effective.
  • Participate in management meetings, where required, to provide advisory based on audit assessment.

Education & Experience:

  • CA Finalist, ACCA, CMA, Bachelors in Accounting & Finance
  • Professional certification (CIA, CISA, etc.) is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Internal Auditing
