Job Summary:

The Medical Biller is responsible for preparing, submitting, and following up on medical claims to insurance companies and patients. This role ensures accurate billing, proper

Claim Preparation & Submission:

  • Prepare, review, and submit clean claims to insurance companies electronically or

by paper.

Payment Posting:

  • Accurately post insurance and patient payments to the correct accounts.

Denial Management:

  • Review and address denied or rejected claims, make corrections, and resubmit.

Patient Billing:

  • Generate patient statements, answer billing-related inquiries, and set up payment

arrangements if needed.

Insurance Verification:

Compliance:

  • Ensure billing procedures comply with HIPAA, CMS, and payer guidelines.

Documentation:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in medical billing or related

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
