Sales Executive:
JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Below mentioned are the duties the Sales Executive needs to ensure compliance with:
- To conduct sales tours of the facilities and give guidance to prospective customers on the type of membership category best suited to their needs and requests as directed by the Company standard.
- To ensure all prospective members received the appropriate information and tour of the facilities.
- To be responsible for the administration of membership paperwork and to ensure that it is processed accordingly,
- To be responsible for recording daily sales and to be familiar with the total membership sales of the club.
- In conjunction with the Business Development and Marketing Manager be responsible for the management of the membership database and sales systems.
- To be fully aware of promotional activities and sales targets.
- To produce an individual monthly sales plan to achieve pre-set sales targets.
- To achieve on a daily basis standards and target, as set down by the company with regards to Key performance indicators: Tour to sale, Calls to appointment, referrals, completed calls, new leads
- To attend weekly sales meetings (as required) to provide relevant information pertaining to membership sales.
- To carry out competitor analyses on a regular basis in order to provide information, this will be used positively in the selling memberships.
- To generate new business by visiting corporate sites and complete outreach work.
- To support the Business Development and Marketing Manager in delivery of systems and initiatives aimed at improving and maintaining customer retention.
- To sell membership with integrity and full clarity of information.
- Ensure that full auditable procedures and practices are in place for processing, storage and management of member information including financial information.
- Liaise with internal and external contacts such as suppliers and user groups.
- Pursue and promote corporate contacts in the area.
- Assist in the development and promotion of schemes aimed at attracting as wide a proportion of the market as possible.
- Contribute to membership campaigns / adverts / offers at aimed at raising fitness services profile and maintaining the branded image of these services.
- Assist in campaigns that are designed to profile target areas and groups.
To undertake other such duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined by the Managing Director of the company from time to time. - To participate in any training initiatives, as trainer or trainer / trainer assessor, in relation to the duties of the post.
- To provide cover as necessary in the absence of staff.
- To maintain and wear uniform in a smart manner.
- Lead membership sales efforts of memberships through direct solicitation, cold calling, open house events and other methods necessary for reaching and selling to all market segments
Serve as the key staff person that provides tours of the facilities and constant follow-up with
Prospective membersDevelop membership promotion strategies with Club Manager, including promotional mailings and signage for membership promotions throughout the year
- Develop and oversee implementation of retention strategies with Club Manager, including plans for Member Appreciation Month and other engagement activities
- Serve as contact for businesses with corporate memberships
- Complete membership process for new members:
- Enter all membership applications as they come into database
- Take members picture and ensure they have membership card.
- Connected with all department managers.
- Enter any discounts if applicable
- Complete membership process for all terminations of membership
- Cancel memberships in database
- Pull membership applicable from file
- Oversee monthly billing process of memberships
- Review dues pre-calculate to confirm charges and discounts
- Update any membership records as needed – change in payment method, contact information, membership type or status
- Process renewals
- Send invoices as applicable
- Follow up with declines and with collections process
B. SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT & QUERY MANAGEMENT:
a) Marketing Campaigns Oversight:
- Actively take care of all the queries on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Business. All queries must be managed with courtesy and maximum information must be provided in order to turn the query into absolute sale.
- Since the inbox query management is our first interaction with the customer, hence courtesy and top notch customer service is of paramount importance. The Sales Executive must ensure that all query management on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Snap Chat,
TikTok and YouTube is up to the par.
b) Query Management & Engagement:
- Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube; Comments and query management is the responsibility of the Sales Executive. The Sales Executive needs to ensure that all queries are dealt with exceptional customer service and the Sales Executive must comply with the customer service/satisfaction guidelines provided.
C. SALES MANAGEMENT/CONVERSION: a) Campaign(s) leads:
1. Sales campaigns are originated every month. The Sales Executive needs to ensure that absolute customer driven query management is executed on all social media handles.
2. The Sales Executive needs to ensure that maximum cell phone numbers are retrieved during the initial query management, so that maximum outputs can be produced during the sales calling period.
3. The Sales Executive needs to make a record of any issues/non-compliance instances and need to report to the management. These non-compliance instances need to be reported on a weekly basis, prior to the weekly meetings. A comprehensive report on such issues/non- compliance needs to be presented to the management at the end of each month, so that the management can decide if they need to take any actions.
b) Maintain Sales Dashboard & Sales Calls:
1. All the cellular numbers retrieved out of all campaigns needs to be recorded in the database, so as to fill the data bank for future sales. The Sales Executive needs to ensure that all the data is up to date at any given point in time.
2. The Sales Executive must make timely sales calls as per the pitch provided by the supervisor. The Sales Executive must respond to all queries within 15 minutes and make sales calls as soon as possible, as committed to the prospective members.
3. The Sales Executive must ensure that all the data is accurately entered in all databases and timely response to all queries and comments is critical to ensure sales.
4. The Sales Executive must be well versed in conducting a professional facility visit for the visitors called upon by the Sales Executive.
D. CODE OF CONDUCT:
- Exhibit a Professional and Positive attitude at all times.
- Must comply with the duty timings and follow the above mentioned guidelines.
- Be Present in the Weekly Meetings
- Team Work is very important. It is crucial that the Sales Executive must work closely with the fellow colleagues.
- Leave approvals must be taken in advance. Follow the flow chart for planned holidays and Emergency holidays
- The Sales Executive must inform the management in advance, in a timely fashion if the Sales Executive is unable to report to work. The Sales Executive must state the reasons.
E. WORKING HOURS & DAYS:
The Sales Executive must adhere to the below mentioned working days:
The SALES EXECUTIVE will be required to carry on site duty for 9 hours per day on 6 working days in one calendar week. A minimum of 54 hours per week on site presence is required.
Actual working hours will be decided by the management to fully realize the effectiveness of the job position. Any changes in working hours of duty will be decided by CEO and GM as to fully realize the effectiveness of this job position.
F. MONITORING & EVALUATION:
The Sales Executive will be monitored and assessed on all the parameters mentioned above in the job description. The Sales Executive must ensure that they follow all the guidelines and comply with all the stated policies.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
The monthly package is classified into Basic Package and the Add-On Plus, which is discussed in detail below.
Basic Package: The Basic Package is PKR 35,000/- where the Sales Executive must adhere to the above mentioned work days and job duties. Plus, a commission structure outlined below.
Increments in basic salaries will be as per the appraisal policy.
Commission Structure: This is a commission-based bonus head separate from Basic Package. It's an add-on and the Sales Executive will be paid on the basis of the targets communicated by management.
Commission structure will be activated once a minimum monthly sales revenue target is achieved. This minimum threshold target will be decided and communicated at the start of every month by the management.
Commissions on Adhoc campaigns and promotions for other products and services if and will carry bonus incentives, will be communicated to the Customer Service Representative.
