Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and government sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing technical and commercial support.
  • Conduct site visits, technical discussions, and customer meetings to understand requirements.
  • Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs to prepare accurate cost estimations.
  • Collaborate with engineering/design teams to ensure proposals are technically compliant.
  • Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost breakdowns, compliance sheets, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure all estimates reflect competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
  • Support sales negotiations by providing technical justifications and value-based solutions.
  • Assist in finalizing contracts by ensuring technical and commercial alignment.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Production, Procurement) after project award.
  • Provide smooth handover of project details to execution teams.
  • Support project execution by clarifying technical/commercial queries when needed.
  • Track sales pipeline, proposals, and project status to management.
  • Analyze competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.
  • Recommend improvements in product offerings and sales approach based on market feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in technical sales, estimation, or proposals (engineering/manufacturing industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes, cost estimation, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD or ERP systems will be an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
