Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
Product Engineer / Project Manager
to join our skincare brand's global team, based in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing product development lifecycles, particularly in the skincare, cosmetic, or consumer goods industries. You will serve as a bridge between product design, formulation, packaging, and production ensuring high-quality execution at every stage. This role requires strategic thinking, technical capability, and excellent coordination skills to deliver product launches that are timely, compliant, and globally competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of skincare and cosmetic products, from concept to launch.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, labs, and manufacturers across international markets.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, samples, and approvals for packaging and formulation.
  • Review product specifications, lab results, and compliance documents (MSDS, COA, etc.).
  • Oversee packaging design and structural engineering to ensure functionality and aesthetic quality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure final product meets brand and quality standards.
  • Work closely with marketing and design teams to prepare product for launch campaigns.
  • Ensure all regulatory and documentation requirements are met for global distribution.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in product development, engineering, or project management in the skincare, cosmetics, or FMCG space.

Proven ability to manage multiple international suppliers and production timelines.

Strong understanding of formulation compatibility, packaging testing, and compliance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proficient in project management and productivity tools (Notion, Asana, Trello, Google Suite).

Knowledge of packaging materials, labeling regulations, and safety standards.

Detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate challenges and offer creative solutions.

Experience working with OEMs, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.
