Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve steel and fencing products from concept to production.
  • Conduct marketing research and feasibility studies for new products and projects.
  • Analyze production processes, machinery, and workflows to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality to meet product specifications and standards.
  • Assist the sales department with project cost estimation, quotations, and technical support.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of product performance, durability, and compliance.
  • Analyze product data and client feedback to suggest design improvements.
  • Prepare technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues during manufacturing or post-launch.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Product Engineering (or related field).

Experience:

  • 2 to5 years of experience in product design, development, or manufacturing, preferably in steel or industrial products.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in steel fabrication, fencing, or industrial product development.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or product lifecycle management (PLM).
