Working Hours: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Monday to Friday)Job Description:

We are hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team. Candidate must have an ACCA qualification, completed articleship, and proven experience in handling UK accounts. Candidate should be proficient in Excel, Xero, and other accounting tools, with strong knowledge of standard accounting practices and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with international accounting standards.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize UK accounts including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, ledgers, and journal entries with accuracy.
  • Manage VAT returns, corporation tax, payroll processing, and other UK-specific compliance matters.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Work with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
  • Support management in financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Assist in process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices.

Requirements

  • ACCA qualified with completed articleship (mandatory).
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting (UK accounts experience is mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws, VAT, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Xero and familiarity with other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills.

  • Experience in financial modeling and MIS reporting.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
