Overview

We are hiring a
Senior Power BI Specialist
on behalf of our client in Qatar. This is a
contract-based role
requiring immediate placement. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering advanced
Business Intelligence and Data Analytics solutions
using Microsoft Power BI, ensuring high-quality insights and supporting the client's decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement
    interactive dashboards and reports
    in Power BI.
  • Translate complex business requirements into
    efficient data models and BI solutions
    .
  • Optimize data models, queries, and reports for performance and scalability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to
    understand KPIs, reporting needs, and business objectives
    .
  • Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Excel, APIs, and ERP systems.
  • Implement
    row-level security (RLS), governance, and best practices
    for BI solutions.
  • Conduct
    data analysis, validation, and quality checks
    to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide
    mentorship to junior BI developers
    and support knowledge-sharing within the team.
  • Stay up to date with
    Microsoft Power Platform advancements
    and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience
    in Business Intelligence & Data Analytics.
  • Proven expertise in
    Power BI (reports, dashboards, paginated reports, Power BI Service)
    .
  • Strong skills in
    DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced data modeling
    .
  • Solid experience with
    SQL, relational databases, and query optimization
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Azure Data Lake
    is a plus.
  • Experience in
    enterprise-level BI deployment, security, and governance frameworks
    .
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in
    fast-paced client environments
    and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified:
    Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • Microsoft Certified:
    Data Engineer Associate / Azure Certification
    (Preferred)
