Legal & IR Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all EOBI and SESSI registrations, contributions, updates, and employee record maintenance.
- Manage labour law compliance as per applicable federal and provincial regulations.
- Prepare and process labour department documentation, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Assist in resolving employee grievances, disciplinary cases, domestic inquiries, and IR-related matters.
- Liaise with labour officers, government bodies, legal advisors, and external agencies.
- Ensure timely renewals of licences, registrations, and maintain updated compliance files.
- Support senior management in union negotiations, settlements, and arbitration (if applicable).
- Draft and review legal notices, letters, and internal memos related to IR and compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and prepare monthly compliance reports for senior management.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by Senior Manager.
Requirements:
· Bachelor degree in Human Resources, or another field.
· Strong knowledge of EOBI, SESSI, labour laws, disciplinary procedures, and statutory requirements.
· Good communication, documentation, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to deal with government authorities professionally.
· 3–5 years of relevant experience.
