Assistant Manager Legal

Job Summary:
To assist the corporate and commercial legal function by ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing legal documentation, managing corporate governance matters, and providing legal counsel to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal instruments including contracts, MOUs, agreements, and other related documents.
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal company policies.
- Oversee legal compliance, statutory filings, renewals, and regulatory reporting requirements for representative offices operating across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain a centralized and organized repository of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Provide legal opinions and strategic guidance on corporate transactions, joint ventures, and other business initiatives.
- Assist in managing and protecting intellectual property rights of the Company.
- Perform any other legal tasks or responsibilities assigned by the management.
- Assist in the development of internal legal policies and governance frameworks to support long term growth and compliance.
- Handle routine legal queries and provide timely legal support to departments.
Key Requirements:
- a minimum qualification of LLB
- 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice, including a combination of law firm and in-house corporate legal roles.
- Demonstrated exposure to corporate advisory, contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal operations within a business environment.
- Experience in handling representative office matters and cross-border legal compliance will be considered an added advantage.
