Winklin is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer (Contract) on behalf of one of its prestigious clients — a leading bank in Pakistan.

This is a short term contract position (3 months), ideal for professionals with strong QA expertise in financial or mobile applications.

Location:

· Maikolachi, Karachi

Contract Details:

· Duration: 3 months (extendable based on project requirements)

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute test cases based on end-user requirements and application specifications.

· Assess both new and existing software capabilities in a structured manner.

· Utilize project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

· Write and execute SQL queries (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).

· Apply deep understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance concepts.

· Review daily test results, log issues, and track bugs using tools like Jira or DevOps.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

· Participate in walkthroughs of test plans and documentation reviews.

· Perform API testing (functional, non-functional, performance/load, reliability) using tools like Postman and Apache JMeter.

· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for financial mobile applications.

· Test apps across multiple devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions to ensure consistent user experience.

· Work closely with developers to resolve defects and verify fixes.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable institution.

· 2–6 years of professional experience in a software testing environment, preferably within the Banking or Financial industry microservices and API development.
