About the Hiring Company

We are looking for a Senior Backend & Systems Development Lead who can bring together backend engineering, automation, and applied AI to deliver enterprise-grade systems. This role requires strong technical leadership and the ability to guide a team of engineers in building secure, scalable, and intelligent platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop backend systems, APIs, and automation pipelines.

  • Build workflow engines that map governance rules, approval flows, and compliance requirements into technical systems.

  • Integrate AI components (LLMs, NLP, machine learning models) to automate classification, decision support, and document processing.

  • Apply LangChain or similar frameworks to connect LLMs with structured data, databases, and workflow steps.

  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of enterprise solutions.

  • Oversee system security, evidence trails, and audit readiness.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Backend Development: Advanced skills in Python, , Java, or Go.

  • System Architecture: Experience designing modular, microservices-based systems.

  • Databases: Strong in SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).

AI & Automation:

  • Practical experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into enterprise systems.

  • Hands-on with LangChain, RAG pipelines, and embeddings/vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).

  • Knowledge of automation workflows and orchestration.

  • Cloud Infrastructure: AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines.

  • Governance & Compliance Systems: Understanding of approval chains, access control, and evidence/audit logs.

  • Leadership: Strong experience managing cross-functional technical teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.

  • 5–10 years of experience in backend and systems development.

  • At least 2–3 projects involving AI/ML or workflow automation successfully delivered.

  • Prior experience in leading teams and owning end-to-end delivery.
