Role Summary

The IT Hardware & Network Administrator will be responsible for managing the company's IT hardware infrastructure and ensuring network reliability across all branches, warehouses, and the head office. This role requires a hands-on professional skilled in troubleshooting, hardware support, and network administration to keep business operations running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and peripherals.
  • Provide first-line IT support to employees, resolving hardware and network issues.
  • Administer LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot internet connectivity and ensure network uptime.
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and IT security measures.
  • Support CCTV, biometric, and access control systems.
  • Maintain hardware and network inventory; handle repairs, warranty claims, and procurement.
  • Perform regular data backup checks and support disaster recovery procedures.
  • Document IT incidents, solutions, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team for system upgrades, server patching, and network optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT hardware and network support.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and peripherals.
  • Practical understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs).
  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and server administration preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
