Government Relations Officer

Location:
Karachi

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, International Relations, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • A master's degree in a relevant field will be desirable.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in government affairs, regulatory liaison, or public sector engagement, preferably within the mining, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of Baluchistan's socio-economic and regulatory environment is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Pakistan's federal and provincial government structures, laws, and approval processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with government and institutional stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of government procedures, protocols, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Skilled in drafting professional correspondence, reports, and briefing materials.
  • Cultural awareness, political sensitivity, and discretion in handling official matters.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Proactive, organized, and results-driven mindset.
