Descon is a leading multinational conglomerate and operating in the engineering, chemical, agri and power sectors. Descon Oxychem Ltd. (Chemical Vertical of Descon) supplies customized Hydrogen Peroxide (HP) chemical based solutions for textiles, food and beverage safety as well as other industrial and consumer sectors.

Role Description

This role exists to execute Process Engineering, trouble shooting, optimization and oversee technical plant modifications, product quality, and consumption ratios, undertake new projects with the objective to ensure safe, efficient & coherent operations. The role operates within guidelines as stipulated by DOL SOPs, Quality & HSE criteria, Site emergency procedures, EPA Regulations & Management's directions.

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelors with 5-7 years of process engineering experience at a similar (process) industry
  • Expert Knowledge of P&ID (Process and Instrument Development)
  • Understanding of Process & Design Engineering, Simulation, Material & Energy Balance concept
  • Develop ASPEN/HYSIS, other simulation software and modern process engineering tools Understanding for timely troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Operations exposure and understanding
  • Well versed in Plant Chemistry and Processes
