About the Role

Were hiring a Portfolio Operations Associate to join our global operations team and provide direct support to crypto hedge funds and trading clients. Youll be responsible for maintaining accurate daily reconciliations, resolving position or trade discrepancies, and directly interfacing with clients to help ensure their portfolios are correctly represented.

This is a high-impact role that combines precision in financial operations with strong communication and client handling skills. You'll serve as the operational backbone for hedge fund clients trading through the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily balance and trade reconciliations for client portfolios across exchanges and custodians.
  • Investigate and resolve breaks in position, cash, or P&Lensuring accurate trade bookings in the PMS (Portfolio Management System).
  • Engage in real-time communication with hedge fund traders and operations teams to clarify discrepancies and operational gaps.
  • Post manual adjustments and backdated trades as needed to reflect correct exposure and performance.
  • Monitor operational flows and escalate issues internally to ensure fast, accurate client resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and account teams to improve tooling and client support processes.

Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of professional experience in operations, finance, trading support, fund accounting, or audit.
  • Strong working knowledge of trade lifecycle, reconciliation, and portfolio or fund operations.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must be confident speaking live with international hedge fund clients.
  • Experience or at least knowledge of working with any PMS, EMS, or reconciliation platform 
  • High attention to detail, comfort working independently, and ability to operate under pressure.
