About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Systems Administrator (Level 1/2) to join our remote technical team in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will provide system administration, monitoring, and technical support for IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver professional support in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1/2 remote technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, desktops, and cloud-based environments.
  • Monitor system health, availability, and security using remote tools.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
  • Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Troubleshoot and support LAN/WAN, VPN, and remote connectivity issues.
  • Assist with data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, technical processes, and solutions.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior administrators or vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic Linux administration.
  • Knowledge of server hardware, software and network systems.
  • Experience with remote monitoring tools, helpdesk systems, or ticketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while meeting deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and Urdu (both written and verbal).
