Job Summary:

The Senior Executive – Internal Audit will be responsible for conducting internal audit engagements, assessing internal controls, and identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves risk assessments, compliance checks, and financial analysis to ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports with key findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Evaluate internal controls and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform risk assessments and suggest control enhancements to mitigate risks.
  • Review financial transactions, supporting documentation, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, company policies, and best practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of audit plans and strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on audit standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit observations and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education: CA/ACCA/CMA-Finalist plus Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in internal audit, pre-audit, or finance-related roles.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in audit tools, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems (preferred).
  • Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or a relevant industry (preferred).
