Designation: DevOps Engineer

Reporting To: Senior Manager/CISO

Responsibilities:

  • DevOps Engineer will be a critical role responsible for infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation processes.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure efficient software delivery and continuous improvement of our development and operations practices.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to provision and manage infrastructure resources in a cloud environment.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI, or similar, to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Manage and automate server configuration using tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible, ensuring consistency across all environments.
  • Work with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to manage containerized applications.
  • Set up monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or like proactively identify and resolve issues in the production environment.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure, processes, and configurations.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Understanding of Docker and containerization concepts
  • Basic scripting (Bash, Python, or Shell)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn DevOps tools and practices
