Role Overview

The
AI Engineer
will design, implement, and optimize the information flows (context) that empower AI models to automate complex tasks across systems. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, prompt design, integration, and AI orchestration—ensuring that AI solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
1. Context Analysis & Design

• Deconstruct complex user stories and business workflows into actionable data flows and prompts.
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures to securely integrate private datasets, documentation, and databases.

2. Integration Engineering (The Glue)

• Develop and maintain scalable API integrations between core systems (CRM, ERP, Databases) and AI services (OpenAI, Vertex AI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Ensure integrations are resilient, fault-tolerant, and monitorable.

3. Resource Optimization (The Savings)

• Optimize for token efficiency—use the right model for the right task.
• Implement caching, reuse prompt components, and reduce redundant API calls.

4. Risk & Quality Management

• Implement AI guardrails to prevent hallucinations, prompt injection, and bias.
• Collaborate with QA to define measurable success metrics (accuracy, relevance, latency).

5. Research & Continuous Improvement

• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring the latest in AI agents, RAG methods, and fine-tuning strategies.
• Develop proofs of concept to test new techniques and improve internal workflows.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Knowledge (Hard Skills)

• 2+ years of experience
  in AI engineering, machine learning engineering, backend development, or data engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in
  Python
  ; familiarity with
  Go

  is a plus.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and gRPC API design and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with

• Experience with vector databases such as
