Job Summary:

The SEO Team Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve the company's online visibility, website traffic, and search engine rankings. This role involves leading a team of SEO specialists, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring all SEO initiatives align with the company's overall marketing and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and website performance.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend studies.
  • Define on-page and off-page optimization roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with content and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
  • Team Leadership
  • Supervise and guide SEO specialists and interns.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and review completed work for quality and accuracy.
  • Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
  • On-Page Optimization
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs for search engines.
  • Ensure technical SEO elements like site speed, mobile-friendliness, and indexation are properly maintained.
  • Work closely with developers to fix crawl errors and improve site structure.
  • Off-Page Optimization
  • Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
  • Monitor backlinks and ensure compliance with Google Webmaster Guidelines.
  • Build partnerships for guest posting, PR backlinks, and influencer outreach.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Track and report KPIs such as traffic, rankings, conversions, and ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work with content, social media, and paid marketing teams to align SEO with broader campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams for user experience improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Stay up to date with Google algorithm changes and SEO trends.
  • Recommend and implement new tools or technologies to enhance SEO results.

Job Type: Full-time
