Customer Sales Representative

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Sales Representative (CSR) to join our team in the packaging industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales through innovative packaging solutions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from inquiry to delivery. Your expertise in the packaging field and commitment to excellent service will be critical in meeting our sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the packaging industry.
- Proactively engage with potential and existing clients to promote our range of packaging solutions.
- Develop tailored proposals and quotations that meet customer requirements.
- Drive sales growth by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Order Processing & Coordination:
- Accurately process orders and coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, and customer service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Keep customers updated on order status, delivery timelines, and any potential issues.
- Ensure that all customer interactions and transactions are recorded in the CRM system for future reference and reporting.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market demands within the packaging sector.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and management insights, contributing to strategic planning and business growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of sales, customer service, or account management experience, ideally within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Technical & Soft Skills:
- A strong understanding of packaging products, materials, and industry-specific solutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
