Elevator Supervisor

Job Purpose:

The
Field Operations Supervisor (FOD)
is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily field operations for elevator installation, maintenance, and repair projects. The role ensures that all field activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and according to DELSP's quality standards while guiding and mentoring the field team to achieve departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise field technicians to ensure smooth execution of daily operations.
2. Plan and schedule tasks, assign resources, and monitor team performance.
3. Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and client specifications.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site; escalate major challenges to management.
5. Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for field staff.
6. Maintain accurate and timely reports of site progress, team productivity, and incidents.
7. Liaise with clients to address queries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
8. Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, HR, Procurement) to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
9. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in elevator/escalator installation and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong technical knowledge of elevator systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
