Position Purpose:

The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for leading and managing DELSP's operations, ensuring discipline, coordination, and performance across all departments:

·       FOD - Field Operation Department (Installation & Maintenance)

·       SPD - Supply Chain & Procurement Department

·       AFD - Accounts & Finance Department

·       MSD - Marketing & Sales Department

The GM will play a central role in organizing ongoing projects, building a culture of excellence, and ensuring that DELSP systems and Islamic values are consistently applied throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Leadership and Strategy

·       Implement DELSP's mission, vision, and core values across all departments.

·       Develop annual goals, KPIs, and action plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

·       Ensure departmental harmony, operational discipline, and effective teamwork.

·       Maintain transparent communication between CEO, teams, and clients.

2.     Operational Excellence

·       Supervise installation and maintenance projects under FOD to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.

·       Oversee material planning and procurement with SPD to avoid delays.

·       Monitor financial controls, project budgets, and profitability with AFD.

·       Strengthen documentation, reporting, and performance tracking systems.

3.     Team Management and Discipline

·       Build and enforce a professional work culture based on punctuality, respect, and accountability.

·       Conduct weekly progress meetings and staff evaluations.

·       Mentor young technicians, supervisors, and team leaders to develop leadership capacity.

·       Address performance issues with fairness and firmness.

4.     Customer and Brand Development

·       Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure high service quality.

·       Support Sales (MSD) in business development and tender participation.

·       Review all major quotations and contracts for accuracy and profitability.

·       Uphold DELSP's image as a reliable, ethical, and responsive service partner.

5.     Continuous Improvement

·       Evaluate existing systems and propose process improvements.

·       Implement performance dashboards and regular project status reports.

·       Promote safety training, technical learning, and continuous improvement.

6.    Islamic Business Conduct

Qualifications and Experience:

·       
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or related field.

·       
Experience:
Minimum years of progressive management experience in elevator, construction, or engineering service industries.

·       
Skills:

o  Strong leadership and people management skills.

o  Sound understanding of project planning, procurement, and finance.

o  Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.

o  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.

o  Ethics: Proven record of integrity, transparency, and professionalism.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range:
PKR 150,000 Per Month (negotiable) depending on experience and capability.

Probation and Evaluation:

·       Probation Period: 3 - 6 months.

·       Performance evaluation based on KPIs, leadership behavior, and alignment with DELSP values.

Work Environment:

·       Location: Karachi (Head Office and Site Visits Nationwide)

·       Working Hours: 9 to 6,

·       Working Days: 6 Days a Week

·       Occasional travel within Pakistan for project supervision and client meetings.
