Zerritta Flowers is a dynamic and growing business specializing in premium floral arrangements, events and daily retail operations. We are seeking a hands-on Finance Executive who will be key to ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle of accounts: ledgers, payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, month-end closing.
• Maintain and monitor cash flow, prepare cash-flow forecasts and ensure liquidity planning.
• Process and reconcile transactions from all 4 points of sale (POS) systems; ensure accuracy of daily sales postings.
• Maintain financial records and control using Excel spreadsheets (advanced functions, pivot tables, dashboards).
• Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for management review.
• Handle company tax and regulatory compliance: liaise with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), file withholding tax, income tax, sales tax as required.
• Assist with audit preparation, work with external auditors, maintain supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Work closely with the management team to provide insights, analysis of variances, cost control opportunities.
• Coordinate payroll processing (if applicable), expense reimbursement and petty cash management.
• Ensure that all statutory registers (tax, fixed assets, vendor/customer) are maintained up-to-date.
• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises as required by senior management.
• Provide training or support to junior accounting staff or assistants as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or higher) in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA/CA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance/accounting roles in Pakistan; prior hands-on experience with tax compliance and FBR matters.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, data dashboards).
• Experience working with POS systems, and reconciling multiple sales outlets is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of Pakistani tax laws: income tax, withholding tax, sales tax/VAT, etc.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to liaise with management, auditors, vendors, regulatory authorities.
• Reliability, integrity and high ethical standards in handling financial data.
• Proactive mindset: able to identify issues, propose solutions, implement improvements.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
