We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Retail – FMCG) to lead and execute retail expansion, store rollout, and operations improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, FMCG/retail exposure, and the ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of retail expansion projects (new store openings, renovations, distribution setups).
  • Retail Operations & Store Development
  • Oversee store design, layout, fit-out, and fixture installations while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and landlords for timely project execution.
  • Support merchandising and supply chain teams for store readiness.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Act as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders (sales, operations, marketing, IT, finance).
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration across departments for project delivery.
  • Budget & Cost Control
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Track expenses, approve purchase requisitions, and avoid overruns.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety, legal, and brand standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
  • Risk & Issue Management
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve issues quickly to avoid project delays.
  • Reporting & Communication
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, costs, and risks.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of proven project management experience in Retail / FMCG / Consumer Goods.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, store rollouts, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / similar project management tools.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification will be an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
