Job Summary

We are seeking a
certified Junior Oracle DBA (OCP)
to assist in managing, maintaining, and securing our
Oracle Database environments
, including
Exadata, Oracle Vault, and Database Firewall
implementations. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and security best practices, with a willingness to learn advanced technologies under the guidance of senior DBAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the
    installation, configuration, and patching
    of
    Oracle Databases (19c/21c)
    and
    Exadata systems
    .
  • Perform
    database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
    using AWR, ASH, OEM and SQL Tuning Advisor.
  • Support
    backup and recovery operations
    using
    RMAN
    , including disaster recovery scenarios.
  • Deployment of Oracle Database
    Schema, Tables, Views, Sequences, Package, Procedure, function etc. and it's compilation.
  • Configure and maintain
    Oracle Database Firewall
    for security monitoring and threat prevention.
  • Work with
    Data Guard
    for high availability and replication setups.
  • Apply
    quarterly security patches (PSU/BP)
    and assist in database upgrades.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
  • Collaborate with senior DBAs and IT security teams to enforce
    database security policies
    .
  • Knowledge of Linux / Windows for database Administration & Configuration including batch scripting/jobs scheduling

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Mandatory:
    Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) for Database Administration (19c/21c)
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    Oracle Exadata architecture
    (storage cells, smart scans, IORM).
  • Understanding of
    Oracle security features (TDE, Vault, Database Firewall, Audit Vault)
    will be a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with
    RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SQL, PL/SQL scripting
    for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with
    Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) / Cloud Control
    .
  • Basic Linux/Unix skills for database administration tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
