Job Responsibilities:

o Daily Health Checks of all Databases to ensure availability of all Databases with proactive monitoring.

o Should have knowledge of RMAN and Database restore PITR.

o Should knowledge of database upgrade.

o Performs other related duties as required or assigned by line manager.

Job Requirement:

Daily Health Checks of all Databases to ensure availability of all Databases with proactive monitoring o Ensure smooth replications to DR Site o Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting Availability and Replications mechanisms
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user queries related to Databases.
• Interact with Application owners and users to understand and document day-to-day issues and resolve them to facilitate business.
•Assist in Performing Backup & Recovery Tasks o Assist in Testing backup & recovery procedures as part of routine exercises
• Shell scripting to automate day-to-day jobs on Linux based platforms
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned by line manager.

Essential Skills:


• Knowledge of Oracle Database 11g ,12c,19c (RAC & Data Guard, Upgrade ).
• Must have experience working with Databases on Linux RHEL & Windows Server Platforms
• Should be a good learner.

Desired Skills:


• Fluent in the local language
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-motivated individual with Team Playing skills. Should be a good learner.
