Job Description
  • Manage and supervise METRO in-store QA activities to ensure compliance with METRO standards and local regulations, including statistical reporting and analysis to improve compliance.
  • Ensure implementation of FSSC 22000, Halal standards, and METRO corporate standards in stores, acting as Food Safety Team Leader.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure statutory and regulatory QA requirements are met.
  • Organize training on food safety, quality, and legality with QA, Operations, Buying Departments, and authorities.
  • Implement product monitoring programs and labelling systems.
  • Establish SOPs and WIs to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with operations and QA teams to reduce quality-related losses in stores.
  • Handle customer complaints, quality incidents, and crisis management, including product recalls and returns.
  • Develop and manage systems for document and data control.
  • Conduct supplier development activities.
  • Participate in internal quality inspections and recommend corrective actions or improvements.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree.
