
Key Accounts Specialist

Position Summary
The Key Accounts Specialist (KAS) supports the Key Accounts Manager in growing strategic customer partnerships by executing commercial plans, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring operational excellence. The KAS acts as the executional backbone for account plans, helping to deliver volume and value targets while enabling flawless in-store implementation, performance tracking, and cross-functional alignment.
A day in the life of KAS:
Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales and share updates with KAM and relevant teams.
Track performance against agreed KPIs and highlight variances with actionable suggestions.
Support in developing insights from sell-out and category data to guide planning.
Account Coordination
Support in execution of Joint Business Plans and customer-specific commercial initiatives.
Maintain updated customer profiles, records, and support documentation for key account operations.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and business review material for customer meetings.
Customer Communication & Support
Act as key point of contact for customers on operational matters.
Facilitate timely resolution of customer queries, order status, and delivery issues.
Coordinate and follow up on promotions, launches, and activations with customers and field teams.
Executional Excellence
Ensure proper visibility, planogram compliance, and activation execution in stores via coordination with merchandising teams.
Track campaign performance and compile insights to support post-activity evaluations.
Assist in managing and monitoring trade-spend execution as per budget.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Trade Marketing to ensure alignment on execution plans.
Follow up on demand planning, stock availability, and order fulfillment processes.
Support KAM in internal alignment meetings and planning cycles.
Track competitor activity and report market observations that could influence account plans.
Assist in compiling market intelligence reports and identifying white space opportunities.
What Will Make You Successful?
Bachelors/Masters from an HEC recognized institution.
1 to 3 years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, or Key Accounts function.
Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and a team player.
