Job Description

AlphaBOLD is currently seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of experience. The candidate will ensure that financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, processes are followed, and financial tasks are completed before deadlines. They will also ensure that key stakeholders receive the necessary financial information to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions.
  • Process invoices and record accounts payable and receivable.
  • Update internal financial systems.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Participate in financial audits.
  • Track bank deposits and payments.
  • Assist in budget preparation.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including banks and regulatory bodies.
  • Handle full set accounting functions, including daily bookkeeping and month-end closing.
  • Prepare consolidated group accounts and financial analyses.
  • Generate management reports monthly.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process.
  • Review income tax returns and statutory reports.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance-related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting; audit experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is mandatory.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Urdu.
  • High integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
