The Division

Harris CareTracker Software as a Service (SaaS) platform enables Harris to continue its expansion into the US healthcare information technology ("HCIT") market.

CareTracker is a provider of practice management solutions for physician practices in the United States.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join our Data Engineering Product Team. As a BA, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management software solutions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders—to gather, analyse, and document business needs. Your work will drive innovation and directly contribute to improving user experiences in the healthcare technology space.

The selected candidate will work preferably from Contour Software Lahore office, as part of the resource-centre team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, clinical users, and other stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and desired states, identifying opportunities for improvement or new functionality.
  • Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, administrators, users, and the technical team to ensure clear communication and alignment on requirements.
  • Track and report on project progress, offering regular updates and aiding in issue
  • resolution.
  • Participate in roadmap planning and strategy discussions, leveraging user feedback and market research to inform product direction.

Requirements

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the US healthcare/EHR
  • software industry.
  • In-depth understanding of EHR & Practice Management systems, clinical workflows, and healthcare industry standards.
  • Experience in business requirements gathering, documentation, and user story creation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Exposure to full product lifecycle management and agile product development within cross-functional teams.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of interpreting data and
  • generating actionable insights.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Awareness of healthcare industry trends and emerging technologies, especially in the EHR/Practice Management domain.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative work environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with EHR & Practice Management software platforms.
  • Background working on technical projects involving databases, reporting, analytics, back-end systems, or architecture.
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards like HL7, CDA, and FHIR.
