We are seeking a skilled and reliable Accountant with proven experience in handling both UK and Pakistan accounts. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in local accounting standards, tax rules, and reporting requirements for both jurisdictions. Familiarity with QuillBot (for paraphrasing or preparing polished written communications) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records for UK and Pakistan operations
  • Prepare financial statements compliant with UK GAAP/FRS and Pakistan regulations
  • Handle tax filings, VAT returns, and other statutory compliance requirements in both countries
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors/tax authorities as needed
  • Use QuillBot (or similar tools) to improve written reports or communication as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience with UK and Pakistan accounting and tax rules
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of local statutory compliance and reporting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with QuillBot for polishing written work
  • High attention to detail and integrity

Preferred:

  • ACCA, CA, or other professional accounting qualifications
  • Prior experience in a multinational or dual-jurisdiction role
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
