**About the role:**

  1. Bookkeeping for a variety of clients using accounting software (Xero and QB)
  2. Preparation of VAT returns for Ltd companies/Sole traders
  3. Preparation of Year End Accounts (CCH experience would be ideal)
  4. Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
  5. Balance sheet, Profit & Loss, and Trial Balance analysis
  6. Assisting managers

**Requirements:**

  1. Minimum of two years experience working with a UK-based accounting firm
  2. Must have UK tax and accounts knowledge; only individuals with relevant experience are eligible to apply
  3. Must have knowledge of all UK VAT schemes
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software, especially Xero and QB
  5. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  6. Must be either qualified or part-qualified in a relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, AAT, Degree in Accounting and Finance, or similar)
