Job Overview:
Manage the full accounting cycle, from recording journal entries to finalizing financial statements. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting processes, including trial balance preparation and adjustments.
- Oversee period-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Assist in tax preparation and filing of client tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Address tax-related inquiries and coordinate with tax authorities as needed.
- Provide clients with financial analysis, insights, and recommendations for improving business performance.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings to review financial data and address any concerns.
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Prior experience in a CA firm is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the accounting cycle, including journal entries, ledgers, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
