Job Title: Technical Sales Manager (Raw Materials and Equipment)Job Summary:

A 60-year-old chemical distribution company with offices in Karachi, Lahore, and UAE is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager for the Karachi office. The role involves leading sales efforts for chemical raw materials on an ex-stock and indent basis, primarily serving industries such as Paints, Inks, Packaging, and Coating. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, provide technical support, lead a team, and coordinate agency discussions with principals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  3. Provide technical support and guidance to customers on raw materials.
  4. Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and other commercial aspects with customers and suppliers.
  5. Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
  6. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Applied Chemistry (e.g., chemistry, materials science, engineering).
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the raw materials industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of raw materials and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
