Senior Business Development Officer (Upwork Expert)

Dictalabs is looking for a Senior Business Development Officer with expertise in Upwork and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate will generate high-quality leads, bid on relevant projects, and close deals independently. A good understanding of the IT industry, project scoping, and client communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate qualified leads through Upwork and similar platforms.
  • Write effective, custom proposals and manage project bidding.
  • Close deals by handling the entire sales cycle from lead to client onboarding.
  • Maintain a high Job Success Score and positive reviews on Upwork.
  • Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to ensure proposal accuracy.
  • Track competitor activity and stay updated on market trends.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and pipeline forecasts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding and freelance platform sales.
  • Strong skills in proposal writing, client communication, and negotiation.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Understanding of IT services such as web/mobile development, UI/UX, etc.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Sheets, and reporting dashboards.
