Overview

Cooperative Computing is looking for a highly skilled IT Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, and advanced L2/L3 switching. This role is ideal for someone passionate about designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructures. The engineer will play a key role in implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade network solutions while ensuring high availability and security across all environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki solutions.
  • Implement and optimize SD-WAN deployments for secure, high-performance connectivity.
  • Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching (VLANs, trunking, routing protocols, ACLs).
  • Deploy and manage firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies to ensure network security.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Implement redundancy and failover strategies (dual-WAN, link failover, HA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with business systems.
  • Maintain clear documentation of network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Stay up to date with emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless solutions.
  • Proven expertise in SD-WAN technologies and deployment.
  • Proficient in L2/L3 switching and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
  • Experience with VPNs, ACLs, and firewall policies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Meraki Dashboard, SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of redundancy, failover, and high availability design.
  • Strong knowledge of network security best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Meraki Specialist, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible).
  • Exposure to Zero-Trust architecture and RBAC models.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
