Overview

Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in deployments across Pakistan.
  • Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
  • Open and handle JTAC and Cisco TAC cases.
  • Create Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Cisco and Juniper products using Cisco and Juniper configuration tools.
  • Work with enterprise-level architecture team to implement network configurations including subnet and VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN at various locations.
  • Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting.
  • Provide problem resolution for connectivity problems, outages, or performance degradations in the network.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
  • Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other task assigned by Management.
Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's) required to successfully perform the job:

  • Strong understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
  • Ability to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
Education, Experience, Licensure, And Certification
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Specific technical qualification/certification: JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNA, CCNP.
Competencies
  • Technical Competencies: R&S, VOIP, Security; expert level (Cisco or Juniper).
  • Behavioral/General Competencies: Team leadership, strong communication and customer orientation.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications as listed.
