Overview

Responsible for long-term and short-term potato storage in Cold Store. This position ensures the regular supply of high-quality potatoes for processing at various locations and maintains cold stores (factory and third-party) in good working condition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cold Store Manager in storage management, supporting business volume expansion in the Multan area (plant and third-party potato storages).
  • Assist the Cold Store Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliation and storage monitoring reports.
  • Ensure timely entry of purchase orders, purchase requests, and stock adjustments in SAP.
  • Assess machinery and equipment for proper operation, participate in autonomous maintenance activities, and support timely execution of planned maintenance in cold storage.
  • Manage daily dispatches and issuance of 200-600 tons of chip stock to production as per the shared production plan.
  • Identify opportunities, assess situations, evaluate risks with cost implications, and develop and implement processes to improve efficiency.
  • Supervise storage area staff across shifts.
  • Have a technical understanding of high-speed manufacturing environments, controlling losses and potato quality defects.
  • Promote safety awareness and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Accurately record data in Excel and SAP for daily monitoring of potato receipt, dispatch, and consumption, including variances.
  • Oversee maintenance of the cold store cooling system by selecting competitive service providers.
  • Implement CIPC methodologies to maintain potato health.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all departments and suppliers.
  • Keep accurate records of potato inventory and ensure proper waste disposal per protocols.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and product safety standards to ensure compliance with AIBI, IPS, FSSC 22000, and CRP standards.
